Firsthold is a town of Ascalon, located in the centre of the Mushroom Isle. The town is formed of two districts - the surface area, and an underground cavernous section. Initially established as a protectorate of Valinor, the town was founded by former Valinor members Iwasnotthere, Artagan and Xlan. However, the town was granted full independence when King Sparky abdicated his title. Regardless, Firsthold decided to remain in the alliance that it formed with Valinor and Jötunheimr - the alliance that it has remained a part of to this day.
